This easy chocolate soufflé recipe is sure to impress your guests. It's light and airy, with a rich chocolate flavor that will leave them wanting more.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg yolks one at a time, then stir in the cocoa powder and flour.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into four 6-ounce ramekins that have been buttered and dusted with flour.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the soufflés are puffed and golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
