Easy Chocolate Soufflé Recipe

Chocolate Soufflé

This easy chocolate soufflé recipe is sure to impress your guests. It's light and airy, with a rich chocolate flavor that will leave them wanting more.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg yolks one at a time, then stir in the cocoa powder and flour.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gradually fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into four 6-ounce ramekins that have been buttered and dusted with flour.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the soufflés are puffed and golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately.
