Gulab Jamun Recipe: The Perfect Dessert for Any Occasion

Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup ghee, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup rose water
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the milk powder, flour, baking powder, and cardamom powder.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the melted ghee.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring until the mixture forms a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them in the palms of your hands to form smooth spheres.
- Heat the sugar and 1 cup of water in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sugar dissolves and the syrup becomes slightly thickened.
- Add the rose water to the syrup and stir to combine.
- Carefully add the gulab jamuns to the syrup and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until they are soft and have absorbed the syrup.
- Remove the gulab jamuns from the syrup and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Tips:
- If you don't have rose water, you can substitute another floral extract, such as orange blossom water or lavender extract.
