Rhubarb Crumble

This delicious Rhubarb Crumble recipe is perfect for a springtime dessert. It's easy to make and only requires a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound rhubarb, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rhubarb, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Toss to coat.
  3. In a small bowl, combine butter and flour. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Pour rhubarb mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle crumble topping over rhubarb mixture.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and rhubarb is tender.
  6. Serve warm with ice cream or custard.

Tips:

  • You can use frozen rhubarb in this recipe, but be sure to thaw it first.
  • If you don't have all-purpose flour, you can use a gluten-free flour blend.
  • If you like a more tart crumble, you can add an extra tablespoon of sugar to the topping.
