Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-ounce) can sweet potato puree
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sweet potato puree, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Beat until well combined.
  3. Pour batter into unbaked pie crust.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Let pie cool completely before serving.

Tips:

  • For a richer pie, use evaporated milk instead of milk.
